Some Bidders may feel that Dealers charge too much for their Shipping and Handling
fees and in some cases, this is probably true. However, the cost to ship an item is
more than just the shipping charge itself.
It's the materials used to package the item. It's also designed to cover the cost
of the listing and winning fees that auction sites charge the Dealer. Sometimes it
can help offset the fees that online payment services charge to receive a winning
Bidders payment.
In most situations the Shipping fee charged by the Seller doesn't even completely
cover the overall Shipping cost to receive the Winners money and ship the item.
Basically Shipping charges are a tool to help minimize the loss of profit; the rest
is nothing more than a Handling fee.
